2021 LIGHTNING RIDGE OPAL FESTIVAL CANCELLATION!

The 2021 Lightning Ridge Opal Festival will not be taking place as planned on the 28th-31st of July 2021.

With the current Covid-19 situation across the country and the uncertainty of further lock downs our committee has decided to make this tuff decision.

The Lightning Ridge Opal Festival Committee are looking into the possibility of holding the 2021 Festival at the end of October (27th-30th October 2021) we will provide more information once we have confirmed the dates.

Contrary to an email that was sent out the Winton opal show is not cancelled.

But unfortunately the Gold Coast show is.

The Winton show starts registration at 2 pm on the 8 July.

The 9th July is the opal forum with guest speakers.

Its that time of year again when Memberships are due on the 30th June 2021.

We have now connected the Paypal account to the site, automating payments. Please be sure to use this option as it will ensure your Membership will update automatically.

Log in with your username, in the Membership details click to see the other member types.

Be sure you choose the 2021/22 option , so the Basic Membership is second from the left. Click “purchase” . This will put the chosen membership in your shopping bag. Click on the shopping bag in the top right hand corner of the screen.

Double check you have the correct year for the Membership, then click Proceed to checkout. Choose PayPal ,log in and make payment 🙂

The site may send a reminder to renew your membership at the end of the month , if you have already made the payment just ignore.
